영국 출신의 4인조 그룹 Slade.
1966년 결성되어 Hard Rock/Glam Rock 밴드로 영국 내에서 왕성한 활동을 벌였지만, 미국 등의 시장에서는 거의 알려지질 않았다.
그러다 1983년 미국의 Heavy Metal 그룹 Quiet Riot이 Slade의 오리지날 "Cum on feel the noize"와 "Mama weer all crazee now"를 리메이크하고 대 히트를 기록하면서 세계 시장에 알려지게 되었다.
그 여세를 타고 1984년에 발표한 앨범이 "Keep Your Hands Off My Power Supply". 여기 수록곡 중 "Run Runaway"와 "My Oh My"가 히트를 하였는데, 오늘은 요맘 때 분위기에 잘 어울리는 "My Oh My"를 골라보았다.
