매년 크리스마스 때면 어김없이 듣게 되는 "Feliz Navidad"의 주인공인 그는, 그의 나이가 열 아홉살이 되는 1964년에 데뷰앨범 <The Voice And Guitar Of Jose Feliciano>를 발표했었고 지금까지도 왕성한 음악활동을 펼치고 있으며 올해에도 앨범 <The Sountrax Of My Life>를 발표하였다.
오늘 준비한 노래 "The Gypsy"는 그의 1974년 앨범 <For My Love ... Mother Music>에 수록되어있는 곡인데, 동영상은 그가 TV 프로그램 <Sesame Street>에 출연하여 부르는 모습을 담고 있다.
