1970년 부터 그룹 Genesis의 드러머로 활동하며 그룹의 전성기를 이끌어 갔던 Phil Collins.
그가 솔로로 나와 데뷰 앨범 <Face Value>를 발표한 것이 1981년.
그 후로 90년대 말까지 8장의 솔로 앨범을 내며 왕성한 활동을 한다.
그의 초창기 히트 곡 "In the air tonight"은 2Pac이 리메이크 하기도 했다.
오늘은 그의 네 번째 솔로앨범 "... But Seriously"(1989)에 수록되어 있는 노래를 골라보았다.
